09/23 Sunday Run Moved – Aim High 5k/5mile Event

We are moving the start location of Sunday’s run to the The Walt Disney Family Museum at 10AM sharp in the Presidio.
 
GGRC will be joining up with the Young Leaders Board of Aim High for a 5k/5mile free/donation optional event.

Aim High is California’s largest free summer learning program, reaching 2,300 low-income Bay Area middle school students annually. Summer learning loss is responsible for two-thirds of the achievement gap; Aim High solves the problem with a free, multi-year summer program that prepares, nurtures and inspires students to succeed in school and beyond.

  • The event is free. They are kindly asking for a $20 – $30 donation, and all proceeds will go to Aim High.

    • Registration is not mandatory, just helps with headcount so they know how much water/snacks to provide.
  • We will be starting / ending in front of the Disney Museum
  • There will be a 5k and 5 mile option. If you want more miles, feel free to keep running after the event.
